  • OUR GUIDE SERVICE IS DIRECTED TOWARDS:

    1) THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER FLY FISHED

For those that would like to try a days fly fishing to find out if they like this technique with theadvantage of not having to purchase any equipment nor have taken casting lessons. If then there is interest, one can continue and take all the necessary steps.

    2) NEWBEES OR BEGINNERS

To improve your technique with the help of an expert guide who can teach you how to tackle the river and increase your knowledge of fish life and rivers. This will increase the number and the size of your catches. You will see the results already on your next outing.

    3) EXPERT FISHERMEN

Take advantage of the guide knowledge of the timing of the river where he guides and therefore knows very well. Discover the hotspots so that when you get to the river you already know where they are and so you do not waste precious time looking for spots that you may never find, especially if it is the first time on a river.

Where to fish and which technique, what flies to use according to the levels and situations are priceless pieces of advice that your guide can give you.

    4) WIVES, GIRLFRIENDS, FRIENDS OR PARENTS

A days guided fishing as a present is an original gift and it it guaranteed that it will be appreciated by newbees as by expert fishermen.

An opportunity of getting someone to experience the thrill that only the “nobel art” of fly fishing can transmit.

Included in the cost of the days fishing: a picnic or a light lunch depending on where the beat is situated.

The use of Bamboo rods is included.

You can choose between different line weight and models made by the best Italian rodmakers. If you want you can try fishing bamboo with handmade natural silk lines made by Terenzio or if you prefer you can choose tradition DT or WF lines.

For those who love graphite we offer the use of SAGE rods, Orvis rods or rods made by our sponsor Marco Barone.

We supply waders and of course leaders and flies included in the price.

    For your information:

Every week our guides fish their home waters so thatthey can verify the season and discover any slight changes in the river, the hatches, the levels etc that make interpreting the river difficult.

This is where the guide’s work is important. The results especially if we are looking at dry fly fishing, depend a lot on the guides knowledge of the river. It can happen that this knowledge can get you on the fish even in the most difficult season – summer you will be on the fish even when the temperatures reach 35°C. Our guides offer the same service they would demand from their guides when on fishing trips.

    Luca Castellani

Fishing guides have a notorious big defect: they cost a fortune, but they also have a great advantage: the cost of the guide in the total sum of a fishing trip is not so bad Gut their work is the most important and indispensable. It isn’t a normal employer/employee relationship, nor a collaboration – it is a symbiosis, a fusion between two complementary aspects with an end result that goes beyond all forecasts: the success of a fishing outing.
